I've always gone for Reeces Blizzards but I've grown to hate DQ with a passion. All across South Texas in all the little hick ass towns DQ is the only options and they're all terrible because they know they're going to be swamped with oilfield business no matter how little they care and how terrible their service is.

The DQ near me sucks too but I think it's just a bad one.

Do you have Cold Stone in Texas? The ice cream tastes like the LFA sounds.

I take my boys there from time to time, but even here in Austin the service is absolutely horrible. But I do like their shakes.

When I lived in Michigan there was a Cold Stone in my town but I never went there once because why would I when I could go to TCBY? I miss TCBY.

You can get blizzards in a chocolate covered waffle cone now. I saw that last time I was in a DQ and it BLEW MY MIND.

When I'm in Austin I try to avoid eating chain fast food because there are so many awesome food trucks but if I am going to eat fast food in Austin it'll be Chick Fil A.

I've never been to TCBY, I'd probably try it out is the nearest location wasn't in Etiwanda. But Cold Stone is amazing (they also have frozen yogurt) if you can stand extremely rich, creamy soft serve with toppings mixed in right in front of you.

South Lamar, possibly the best ice cream I've ever had, but more for adults than kids. It's on South Lamar. Ask for lots of free samples, very unique flavors.

The town I moved to has not Dairy Queens and no Del Taco's. . . It saddens me greatly. But there is a Coldstone, but I haven't gone there because I don't really feel like having to eat my ice cream on main street. . .

Go to Cold Stone. You won't care where you are because everyone will be jealous you're having the best ice cream in the world and they're just miserable without ice cream or Del Taco. Go there tomorrow and report back, I want to know how it changes your life.

I've had Coldstone many times, I used to work next to the one in Aliso and would always get it when I was working. It was always good for putting you in the mood for a nap. The one up here is on main street and I don't really feel like riding my bike the 2 miles to get there to eat ice cream and parking on main is a pain in the ass so I rarely drive down there. All though I will probably end up there at some point this summer, especially when it is 110 out.
